Gretchen Sianni

Chef/Owner

Gretchen Sianni is a University of Delaware graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management and a certificate from Le Cordon Bleu in Baking and Pastry Arts. She has been immersed in the restaurant business for over 7 years.

Founded by two Delaware natives with a passion for pastries and a desire to know where their food comes from, De La Coeur is a French-inspired cafe with locally sourced, sustainably produced food – all made with love.

Alex Sianni

Owner

Alex Sianni has been working in the fine wine industry for more than 15 years, cultivating relationships with winemakers of bio-dynamically and sustainably farmed wines. He has also worked in restaurants in three countries. He loves to eat whatever Gretchen puts on the table.
